Gino swung the bat from the other side of the plate four out of five times on Saturday. In his five plate appearances, he was on base four times.  And that included a left-hand single and a lefty two RBI home run.

But our work here at GoLeftyGino.org isn’t finished.  There was that fifth at-bat, when he fell off the wagon, so to speak, and batted right.

You can help.  Gino is now a recovering right-hand hitter and he needs your support.  You can help him to take this difficult but life-changing step.

• Encourage him to attend at least three Righties Anonymous 12-step program meetings each week.
• Be understanding if he should call you in the middle of the night if he feels the uncontrollable need to bat right.
